Part of the difficulties we've all been seeing stems from the large number of training missions being run with everyone trying to save their results. This is putting a sizable strain on the Authentication servers. We have a plan to temporarily improve this situation.
Within the next couple of hours we'll be updating everyone's statistics to indicate all training levels have been passed. This will allow you to enter a server and enjoy the full range of Soldier weaponry and abilities.
However, for this to have the greatest effect, we need your help...
Please do not engage in any training missions. Doing so will defeat the purpose of what we are trying to accomplish in the short term, which is to get everyone playing. If this initiative is successful, you'll be able to enjoy multiplayer gaming while we can work at long term solutions.
Once again, please, DO NOT engage in any training missions, but feel free to join a multiplayer server.
Also, please note that if you are kicked from a server, it’s probably due to the server being full. With so many players trying to join at the same time, the number of players in a server may not be accurate. Just try joining another server.

You can get an early jump on release day by having already downloaded AA3 to your system via Steam. That way when they do unlock it, your into the action sooner rather than later. With just around a week to go for release, it gives you some time to get it before that mad rush the day of release, and those horribly slow download speeds that go with that.
Check out steams AA3 Page Here and get ready for some happy fraggin!!

AMERICA'S ARMY GAME WEAPONS
Every detail about AA3 weapons has been verified by Army Subject Matter Experts. From the way the weapons look to how they are deployed and how they sound, the level of realism is unparalleled. Check out the weapons you can employ in AA3 and learn what weapons the NME will use to try to keep you from accomplishing your mission.

M16A4 MWS
The M16A4 MWS (Modular Weapon System) is a 5.56 caliber, air cooled, direct gas operated, magazine fed rifle, with a rotating bolt. The M16A4 MWS is the primary Infantry rifle of the US Army. Fitted with modular rail system the M16A4 is capable of accepting an array of modifications to fit the needs of a particular mission. The M16A4 is equipped with single and 3-round burst fire modes. |
M16A4 DMR
The M16A4 DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) is a more accurate version of the M16A4 that is issued to a squad's designated marksman. Fitted with a heavy 20-inch barrel this weapon is designed to accurately engage the enemy beyond the maximum range of the other squad members' weapons systems. Typically fitted with the Trijicon ACOG M150 4x optic, the M16A4 DMR is equipped with a 2-stage match trigger and can only be fired in the semi-automatic firemode.

M320 GRENADE LAUNCHER
Replacing the M203, the M320 is the US Army's latest grenade launcher. The M320 is a 40mm, single shot, side loading, weapon mounted or stand alone grenade launcher. The M320 can be attached to the M4 MWS and the M16A4 MWS, and with modification can be operated as a stand alone unit. The design of the M320 allows it to accept longer non-lethal and other special munitions. The standard explosive round fired from the M320 is the M433 HEDP (High Explosive Dual Purpose) grenade. The M433 will arm between 14-27 meters and can be used as a slug in an emergency at close range. This weapon will be issued to the Grenadier in the fire team. |
M249 SAW
The M249 SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon) is a 5.56 caliber, air cooled, gas operated, belt fed machine gun that fire from the open bolt position. The M249 SAW is carried by the Automatic Rifleman in a fire team and is designed to be a light support weapon. Although small enough to be used for clearing rooms, the SAW can deliver a devastating amount of firepower. The SAW operates in full auto only. |
M67 FRAG GRENADE
The M67 Frag Grenade can be thrown or rolled to its desired position, with a 4 to 5 second fuse before it detonates, throwing shrapnel at high speeds in every direction. It is lethal within 5m and highly dangerous within 15m, but fragments can fly as far as 230m. Care should be taken when using the M67 indoors as the explosion can produce dangerous levels of over pressure that can disorient or potentially kill anyone in the vicinity. |
AN/M83 SMOKE GRENADE
The AN/M83 Smoke Grenade grenade is used to confuse, disorient, or repel enemies through the creation of large clouds of heavy, white smoke. It can be thrown or rolled into position, and has a 1 to 2 second fuse. Upon detonation, clouds of smoke spew forth, obscuring visibility in its immediate area for roughly 30 seconds. |
M84 STUN GRENADE
The M84 stun grenade is a non-lethal explosive device intended to disorient and confuse the enemy. The M84 produces a bright flash and loud bang that can cause temporary blindness and disorientation to anyone within a few meters for 3 to 6 seconds. Effects are reduced if the M84 is deployed outdoors. It can be thrown or rolled into position and has a 1 to 2 second fuse. |
OBRAN NP
The Obran NP (Nastak Pusbrata - Assault Rifle) is the standard issue rifle of the NME. It is a 5.56 caliber, air cooled, gas piston operated, magazine fed rifle with a rotating bolt. The Obran (or Defender) design borrows from the IWI Galil. The NME is producing this weapon and other variants themselves, and they have modified the design of the Galil to better suit their needs. Equipped with a NATO standard Mil Spec 1913 Picatinny rail fore end, the Obran is capable of accepting any modification designed to fit the Picatinny rail system. The Obran NP can be operated in the single or 3-round burst fire modes. |
OBRAN KNP
The Obran KNP (Krotid Nastak Pusbrata - Short Assault Rifle) is the compact variant of the Obran series rifle and is designed for close quarters combat and vehicular operations. The KNP is fitted with a Picantinny rail fore end capable of accepting any Picatinny compliant modification. This rifle is equipped with single and full auto fire modes. |
OBRAN LMK
The Obran LMK (Lutimak Mitroja Kusbra - Light Machine Gun) is the light machine gun variant of the Obran rifle. This weapon is given to an NME squad's automatic rifleman and is fed from a 100-round drum magazine. Equipped with a heavy barrel for sustained fire, the LMK is capable of delivering a massive amount of firepower. |

|
U-23A1 FRAGMENTATION GRENADE
U-23A1 Fragmentation Grenade is the NME equivalent of the M67 Frag Grenade. The U-23A1 can be thrown or rolled to its desired position, with a 4 to 5 second fuse before it detonates, throwing shrapnel at high speeds in every direction. It is lethal within 5m and highly dangerous within 15m, but fragments can fly as far as 230m. Care should be taken when using the U-23A1 indoors as the explosion can produce dangerous levels of over pressure that can disorient or potentially kill anyone in the vicinity. |
U-72 SMOKE GRENADE
U-72 Smoke Grenade is the NME equivalent of AN/M83 Smoke Grenade. The U-72 Smoke Grenade grenade is used to confuse, disorient, or repel enemies through the creation of large clouds of heavy, white smoke.
